Launch note: These terms are a starter draft, not a substitute for legal review. Before a public launch, add an operator's identity, contact details, and published effective date.
1. What LooPee does
LooPee is a community map of toilet locations. Listings, opening status, accessibility, hygiene, fees and access details are user-contributed or sourced from third-party maps. They may be inaccurate or out of date. Always follow venue rules and signage.
2. Who may contribute
Only submit information you reasonably believe is accurate and lawful to share. Do not add private homes, restricted facilities, fake locations, defamatory statements, harassment, personal information, or material that violates anyone's rights.
3. Door codes and restricted access
Do not post private access codes, staff-only credentials or instructions to bypass security restrictions. LooPee's private PIN field is for your own authorised reference only. It is excluded from public submissions. Using LooPee does not grant permission to enter any premises or use a toilet.
4. Moderation and reports
Community submissions can be withheld pending review, edited for safety, rejected, hidden, or removed by moderators. Users can report problematic entries. Approval does not guarantee accuracy or safety. Moderation decisions may be made without prior notice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not spam submissions, misuse reporting, harass venue staff, scrape or overload map services, or attempt to bypass our technical protections. Respect accessibility needs and other users.
6. Content licence
By submitting public location details, you confirm you have permission to contribute them and grant the app operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, moderate and adapt them for the service. OpenStreetMap-derived material remains subject to its separate licence.
7. Availability and liability
The app is supplied on an as-available basis. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud. Do not rely on the app as your only option during an urgent medical or accessibility need.
8. Contact and changes
Before launch, publish a contact email, moderation-appeal route, deletion-request process, and updated terms. Continued use of later versions may be subject to revised terms.
